The Absolute Horse specializes in equipment and apparel for the English and Western rider, providing products from the industry’s leading brands. We are the only store in Central Oregon with largest collection of Breyer horses and accessories. Customers can also expect to find unique jewelry, special gifts, home furnishings, and a large collection of infant and children’s clothing and toys.



Shop dog! Polo is a 6 year old Australian Kelpie who has grown up in the store. She loves treats and any food for the matter! She loves a good belly scratch


April is a lover of all outdoor activities regardless of if it has legs, wheels, or roots! She feels fortunate to have made a career in the animal industy with over 30 years dedicated to the equines and their people’s needs.


Angela owns and raises Arabians, at one point there were over 100 in the barn. Her family has always bred them for business until they decided to sell all but 1 stallion, 2 mares and 2 geldings for their families enjoyment. Her horse hobbies include endurance riding


Laura is our dressage rider, her horse’s name is Brooks and she shows at 4th and Prix St. George. In her spare time she enjoys playing golf with her husband and is hoping to break a 90 this year”


Sarah is a HB member of the United States Pony Club, as well as a captain of the Summit High School Equestrian Team, where she is a senior. Sarah has 3 horses, and trains with Stephanie Parker for three day eventing, showing in the Area VII events. While Sarah has primarily events, she has dabbed in the jumpers, dressage, polo and polocrosse, trail as well as some western and gaming events. She will be attending Oregon State University in September for pre-veterinary science


Computer girl! Hannah works behind the scenes here at the store and runs all the social media accounts. Hannah grew up trail riding horses on a 300 acre ranch in Canby, OR.  She’s been in Bend since 2008 and has 4 horses. She is a barrel racer & runs in multiple organizations in the NW on her mares – including jackpots and rodeos
